Ages 15 Months – 3 Years
Parent-Child
Where the journey begins
Our Parent-Child program invites the youngest children and their caregivers into the warmth of the Waldorf classroom. Through simple songs, circle time, outdoor exploration, and free play, families experience the rhythms and beauty of Waldorf early childhood together.

Ages 3 – 4 Years
Sandersprouts
Where the forest is the classroom
Sandersprouts is an off-campus nature school for 3–4 year olds, offering a gentle early childhood program inspired by Waldorf principles and grounded in outdoor exploration. Children spend their days in nature — observing seasons, tending to living things, and developing a deep sense of wonder through hands-on, unhurried play.

Ages 4 – 6 Years
TK / Kindergarten
Learning through play and imagination
In our TK/Kindergarten, children learn through imaginative play, artistic activity, and meaningful work. Baking bread, tending the garden, painting, and storytelling form the fabric of each day — building the deep foundations that support all future learning.

Grades 1 – 5
Elementary School
Awakening the love of learning
Our elementary program introduces academic subjects through story, art, and movement. Children learn to read and write through imaginative journeys, explore mathematics through rhythm and pattern, and begin Spanish and German in 1st grade. Main lesson blocks allow deep immersion in each subject.

Grades 6 – 8
Middle Grades
Thinking, feeling, and willing
The middle grades curriculum meets the adolescent's awakening intellect with rigorous academics, creative challenges, and meaningful community service. Students engage with history, physics, chemistry, algebra, and literature through the lens of human experience and moral development.

Summer 2026 · Ages 4 – 14
Summer Camp
Six weeks of wonder & creativity
Six themed weeks running June 22 – July 31 for Early Childhood and Grades campers. Activities include circus arts, handwork, painting, clay, fiber arts, and strings music — all led by Sanderling faculty and guest instructors.
